[Introduction to Cavalia]

Magic is alive throughout the air,
My mane is blowing wildy through the night,
Humans and their captivity make nothing fair,
Nothing can ruin this moment such as fright

Mustangs have been running free longer in this land longer than any feeble human memory can remember but even the tame horses that they mount know of the range's history and how they are in the presence of true beauty. This beauty cannot be held by any mere human hands or contained in their corrals for they hold the souls of truely wild horses that won't be tamed. Mustang beauty is only shown when a horse is running free.

The herd cries shrill neighs towards the sky,
Others echo their calls from beyond our land,
We see their dark shapes as we race by,
Their pelts shining clean and ours hidden by sand,

But the saddle horses that man have treated so kindly and choosen a life of fences always remain loyal to their owners and pastures while others begin to have second doubts wether wild blood pumps through their veins or not. The call of unrequited freedom is too much to bear.

I can't help but wonder if they want to run free,
If they would want to join our band of mystery,
But even as I ponder I know that it is not up to me,
And it never has been as has been recorded in history

But the humans aren't ready to let their dear companions abandon them so they pursue with a grand chase. Mustang stallions guard their new mares jealously, taunting the humans to attempt retreval. And geldings are making their own in herds of bachelors. But when their dear human freinds call, will they truely want to remain free?
